hi, nice to meet you, are you aware it is the policy of ealing council to deliberately issue defective blue badges to disabled drivers that fade when displayed in sunlight, declare this to be an offence and send bailiffs to demand payment/remove valuables if and when payment of these obviously improper penalty charge notices are refused?
i am a victim currantly contesting this outrageous fraud, and have abundant proof of this crime.

My father told me that joke, with Festus, Sheriff Matt Dillon, and Miz Kitty some fifty-odd years ago. It was corny enough for me to remember and still occasionally tell to this day.

I've since discovered that the "Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI)" medical research centre is due to open at the Monash University Clayton campus this year. Apparently it will integrate research in three key platforms: structural biology (molecular level), cell biology (cell level) and regenerative biology (organism level).

Donations can be made via the Monash Online Donation System and marking "ARMI" in the "Other - Please specify" box. 100% of the money goes directly to ARMI (no administrative charges are applied) and onations are tax deductible for Australian tax purposes.

Thanks Ken, good to know - will look that up ... seems strange that while it is not a common name, it seems to pop up in quite a few cultures ... I've seen it used both as a first and last name in South America, in Russia, the USofA and a randomly all over the place ... it'll be an interesting journey to try and trace it's etymological source.

Hey, Just thought I would tell you that Taiss has been used in Scottish names. I think that the Mc Gowen clan have a few of people with this name. I may be wrong.

I do know it is definitely not a common name.

From contractual perspective NDA makes sharing information about any project while working at that company virtually impossible. Although many information might not qualify to be a breach of the contractual agreement. In case a situation of contention should occur then any information sharing can be used as a breach of contract. Then everything else works against the employee. If you are working in the federal or defense sort of engagement, then EA Zone (www.feacinstitute.org) might be an area where you could find help from like minded fellows participants and maybe that is more secured zone to share EA related information.

Hi Xntrek, as full time photographer and a member of both of Australia's pro photographer organisations, I must say I am surprised, and also disappointed on behalf of my peers that you have formed this opinion of pro photography. My own experience is very much the opposite. I think that the majority of photographers are open and willing to share their knowledge. The Australian Commercial and Media photographers has a group(Trampoline) specifically to address the needs of emerging photographers. Perhaps you could go along to one of their meetings, and hopefully you will find an open and supportive attitude. http://www.acmp.com.au/Joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=49&Itemid=94
Cheers

As proof in point to Ken's remarks - I found an article in the UK based Guardian Unlimited website, titled We all helped to speed the demise of professional photographers.
